Biography:

I ‘am an academic pursuing a career and growth in Industrial and Organisational Psychology, Human Resources Management and associated fields’ facilitation of learning and research. 

I have a Phd in Industrial and Organisational psychology and a Phd in Human Resources Management, hold a Masters of Commerce Degree in Industrial Psychology, an Honours degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management. I also hold various academic development certificates and certificates in peer assistance.

Apart from my academic qualifications, I am a well-rounded researcher and facilitator who is proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques. I have more than 10 years research experience and I have been involved in various research projects. Furthermore, I have attended and presented in proceedings of various workshops, international and local conferences and some of the papers presented in these proceedings have been published, some are under review for publication and others unpublished. 

Research Interests:

  • Leadership and organisational behavioural outcomes (Change management, Performance management etc)
  • Ethics climate/culture and organisation behavioural outcomes
  • Perception of the HR function and organisation behavioural outcomes
  • Organisational psychology - Employee wellbeing, Organisational effectiveness etc.
  • Personnel psychology - Employee Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Work Motivation etc.
