Professor Brown holds a PhD in Computer Science from Rhodes 欧洲杯足球网_外围买球app推荐-投注|官网. His PhD research on multimodal biometrics involved various image processing and machine learning techniques. His MSc from the 欧洲杯足球网_外围买球app推荐-投注|官网 of the Western Cape involved efficient parallel
processing techniques on both the CPU & GPU in South African Sign Language recognition. He is a passionate lecturer in Computer
Science and a member of SAYAS and IEEE.
Research interests
Computer vision in agriculture and marine biology, signal processing, machine learning and artificial intelligence, information security and biometrics.
